East Anglia's largest firework display and one of the top ten in the UK will be a showcase event for Peterborough on the 6th of November 2010.
A £20,000 show will light up the skies above Ferry Meadows in a spectacular display lasting almost 25 minutes. Rockets, 12 inch shells, roman candles and screaming rockets will enthral the crowd as around 15 to 20,000 spectators gather to witness the largest display yet by Fireworkfiesta 2010.
The firework launch site behind a lake is specifically designated for safety and is distant from the spectators to provide a spectacular display and enjoyment for all.
This is the only professional display of its kind in Peterborough and has been widely acclaimed as a spectacular show and one which the people of Peterborough can be very proud of.
Typically, all of the fireworks are secured in place and electronically fired. The larger shells and mortars are launched from tubes sunk into the sand on the bank of the lake. The team of experts from Kimbolton Fireworks are accredited with the most up-to-date certifications to ensure that Fireworkfiesta 2010 is a professional and spectacular display - one for all the family.
>>>> The firework display will begin at 7:30pm exactly <<<<
Please allow for plenty of time to get to a vantage point as Ham Lane in Ferry Meadows can become very congested.

Kimbolton Fireworks has created displays for some of the largest and most prestigious events, from Trafalgar 200 and the 50th anniversary of VJ Day in London, to Cowes Regatta and Legoland. However our expertise is not limited to the UK, we export fireworks all over the world and were responsible for the display to celebrate the hand over of Hong Kong to China, as well as one of Europe's largest annual firework displays: Dublin's St. Patrick's Day Skyfest display. |
